Qualified in Medicine at St. Bartholomew’s Hospital Medical College in London.
After her year as a House Doctor or Intern, she moved to Australia and continued hospital medical training in Perth, Alice Springs, Darwin and then completed her General Practice training and received the Fellowship of the College of General Practitioners in Melbourne.
After returning to Perth and spending some years working in General Practice, she began Ayurvedic studies in 1999, learning under Dr Rajen Cooppan This began a long term learning journey in Functional approaches to assist people with health. She then went on to study under Dr Igor Tabrizian (author of several books available from Health Quest) learning Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis Interpretation.
Ongoing learning has included training at the Australasian College of Nutritional & Environmental Medicine (ACNEM). The ACNEM Primary was completed in May 2010, and she has since attended many of their ongoing Special Training Programs including Thyroid & Adrenal, Women’s Health, Sleep & Fatigue, The Gut, Oral Health, Environmental toxicity, A to Z of NEM, completing the Fellowship ( FACNEM) in November 2012. She has then gone on to lecture on the Gut Microbiome & Gut Brain Links with ACNEM in Perth 2016 and with the ASLM (Australasian Society for Lifestyle Medicine) as speaker at their Inaugural Conference.
In March 2012 & 2013 she trained with Biobalance Nutrient Therapy for Mental Health disorders under Dr William Walsh (scientist & writer “Nutrient Therapy”).
